We have been in the process of purchasing what will hopefully be our new farm. January 3 is when I started the ball rolling. We are now January 20th and nothing is confirmed!
Never in my experience with buying homes has it taken soooo long. The owners are not quick to respond and setting up all the inspections took a few more days. Still, being patient is not one of my strength!
So we wait.
I sat down to start planning the garden but then stopped. I’m afraid to get ahead of myself.
There is a snow storm hitting our area and I guess I’m secretly glad not to be on a property that needs hours of shoveling. Over 20 cm of snow fall in just 5 hours!
But on the positive side, my brother sent me some new equipment to help me record our adventure. So far, I give it a thumbs up. The equipment is light, easy to use and compact.

The whole set up took me a few minutes, which was mostly spent enjoying opening the boxes, and there was nothing to figure out. Let’s put it out there, I am brilliant at tons of things, but photography and taking video, not so much. So thanks Charlie for making this easy and idiot proof.
BTW, I am just telling you about this equipment because I enjoy using it, not as any endorsement….
Ok, so, another week-end of waiting around. Fingers crossed that this will all be confirmed by tonight or tomorrow!
