First week at the farm and we enjoyed more snow and lots of rain. BUT…I got myself a new computer and so the vlog is going up today.
We had a very busy week taking care of all the chickens and starting the clean up of the barn, not to mention trying to settle into the house. We had lots of friends dropping in to visit and check out our new digs. Even with the bad weather, I have to say looking out any window of the house made me happy.
On the week-end the girls moved the chicks out to the greenhouse. We have turkey poults coming into the kitchen on Wednesday and needed the room to accept them.
We added a stuffy in the brooders for the chicks to cuddle for warmth. We also bought a Cozy Coop heater and it has really made keeping control of their brooder much easier.
So I spent the week-end working around the farm and the girls spent hours mucking out some stalls. I am late posting this but I also did a quick video for our youtube channel. There are also really cool projects that I will share with you in the next while.
